Last night, I sat up ‘till 5 am playing The Orion Conspiracy, a game I first played around the age of 15 and never finished.
Well, last night I finished it. And yes, it sucked. But at that stage, it was a matter of principle.
The plot is derivative and hokey, the music (for the most part) is bland yet ear-piercingly annoying, and the acting … oh my god, the acting is so horribly overwrought it’s hilarious. Check out this video of the intro and see if you can last through it.
Playing this was like looking in your closet and finding a forgotten copy of Plan 9 From Outer Space. Tons of fun. Those gummy-bear aliens sure are scary, huh.
