Red Dwarf back on tv - and not just for a sissy one-off shot this time!

Oh, in case you missed it: my favorite tv-show of all time is back on the air in 2012!

Here’s hoping it won’t suck as bad as the last two seasons of the old show (seasons 7 and 8). I didn’t see Back To Earth yet, but from what I read in the synopsis, it seemed startlingly self-aggrandizing and weak, if only from a story point of view.

In my opinion, Doug Naylor really ran the show into the ground after season 6 (and the cracks were already starting to appear there), so I have my trepidations about this new run. But, like I said, it’s my favorite show. Of all time.

Also, these guys who attended the taping of the first episode put my mind slightly at ease.
